November 9, 2018 (The Woolsey fire)

It's been a long and challenging few weeks.

I've never seen properties, landscapes and lives disintegrate and break as effortlessly as one of the charred twigs left by the Woolsey fire some weeks ago. The fire came fast and was devastating, surrounding the hills quickly as it grew to 96,949 acres of land. More than 295,000 people were evacuated to nearby towns. Some lost homes but unfortunately others lost more than that. Three lives were lost as they tried to flee.

Bunnies huddle together after escaping from the fire ravaging their hillside homes.
