As a kid, I couldn't imagine life without my dad.

Today, I was forced to face it.

He was 92 years old, but I wanted more time with him here.
He lived on espresso, and any type of sweets he could get his hands on.
He once told me he always rushed through dinner to get to the dessert!

He had a kid-like sense of humor and always made us laugh with his antics.
He wasn't a big guy, but somehow he always commanded respect
from people he'd meet with his down-to-earth way of being, or maybe
it was his furrowed brow that gave him a Godfather (minus the cheeks) kind of look!

I can't see the day that I won't miss him.
